Suburban Overlander #7: House Battery Mount

We've been using a Ecoflow Delta 2 power center in our Sienna for a while. I bought it mainly to power a 12V fridge, but we also use it to recharge our other 12 volt devices.

I mounted it between the seats in the Sienna. But I had to give up the center console to do so, and I didn't want to make that same sacrifice in the Suburban.

I found a place for it in the side cabinet, and by pure luck the best place ended up being between two of the original second-row seat mounts.

I fabbed up a plywood-based mount, using some bottom-mounted metal straps to enage the OE seat mount studs.

I found some unit-specific 3D printed mounting feet on Etsy. They're kinda expensive considering it's just a bit of plastic, but I liked how they looked and am happy with how they work. The ends match so the battery can go in facing either direction.

The strap I had in my junk pile, it goes all the way around the base to add extra security to the mount.

My side cabinet will go over this, but the battery should be removeable through a hinged access door.

Now to figure out where the fusebox goes.
