Stretched CJ5?
This sweet-looking Jeep came up for discussion on the EarlyCJ5.com discussion forum. It’s said to be a stretched CJ5 (at least the VIN is a CJ5 VIN).
The Jeep was up for sale, no word yet on whether the forum poster purchased and retrieved the Jeep.

Uh, no.
A CJ8 would have the same square doors as a CJ7. This Jeep has the CJ5 doors.
Also the “divots” below the rear windows - Scramblers didn’t have those.
