Today was a perfect fall day - sunny with temps in the high 70’s approaching 80.  We decided to make a day trip up to Silver Lake Sand Dunes here in West Michigan.  My parents met us up there with their Jeep, and we had a great afternoon just poking around the sand.

A couple people were lured in by these rather innocent looking ponds along the waterfront.  Both vehicles ran after getting pulled out.

After a couple hours of Jeep riding, we decided it was time to give the dog some play time.  She loved the sand, and her new frisbee:

All in all a great day - SSDutch performed OK, but I’m definitely looking forward to the fuel injection.  The carb setup as is floods out while going up steep hills, which kept us off Test Hill and the other razorbacks.  When the carb didn’t flood the Jeep hooked up well, feeling like it had more horsepower than my old CJ5 with the Buick V6, and like the tires were biting better - maybe due to the heavier Jeep?
