I too was saddened to see the passing of an important visionary in this country’s history. Too bad many will never appreciate his passion for doing the right thing for America.
Funny you mentioned the “Dutch” thing --I thought over the weekend that this just solidifies your paint choice for the CJ6—and name, similar to how Baby John named Nixon.

Huh...didn’t know I had choosen a color....
I’m still leaning away from red, and if I go red it’ll be the same 60’s era Ford Rangoon red that Dutch was, so it matches the trailer.

I remember seeing that or a similar shot on the evening news and saying “Wow! Ron’s got a old beat up jeep, and a `6 even! Hes a real guy!!” I think he was in office then and it just made him seem so much more, well, normal I guess.
