Not a CJ6, But Cool

This is breaking from our normal “All CJ6’s, all the time” format here on Boyink.com, but I’m happy to oblige a request from one of our servicemen, MSgt Art Contoni:

Mike,

I wanted to share a Foreign Military Jeep picture with the group. I do not who it belongs to yet. It looks like a CJ7 but its not. I’ll try and get a better picture and try to check it out closer. Could you post the picture on your site.

I’ve seen a lot of cool foreign military 4x4s, I’ll try and get some pictures of them to.

I know that Chrysler, and possibly AMC, made some special Jeeps for export for the IDF (Israel).  Could this be one of those? I didn’t think Mahindra (India) or Mitsubishi were making any versions of the later models beyond the 3B for which they had license.

Art, keep us posted on any info you can gather. Sorry to hear that you’re blocked from ECJ5.
