Pics of the motor mounts used to place the 4.3 Chevy. I can’t recall if these were Advance Adapters or Novak Products.

Michael,
I wrote you once before. I got myself a 64 CJ6A(the red one you have pictured on your site), going to pick it up this week. I’m thinking real hard about swaping in a 4.3L and a 700R4 transmission, just like you did. Have you written your method up? Have pics? If you did it again what would you do different? etc. I would love to see and read about how the whole project went.
Thanks
Scott

Hi Scott -
Well, actually I chickened out and bought SSDutch with the 4.3 Chevy and T18 4-speed manual tranny already installed.
Check in on http://www.earlycj5.com site, in the forums. There’s a couple of guys doing the 4.3 swap there - actually a live thread today by user Mruta. He’s not doing the 700R4 as it’s in a “shortie Jeep”.. but the folks there can be much more helpful than I can.
