It was a long, busy weekend but I just couldn’t help but take SSDutch out to the Holland State Park here in Holland last night.  This is the place where I cruised with Dutch as a teenager, and now has become the normal “lets go for a ride in the Jeep” destination for us as a family.  We had all yet to ride in the Jeep with the rollcage/seatbelts installed so I really wanted to go for a spin.

Then afterwards you gotta get ice cream at Captain Sundae (hey, if it’s good enough for President Bush it’s good enough for us.

I’m probably being over-sentimental, but this little jaunt really helped me get over parting out the CJ5 and made the CJ6 feel like more of the adopted family Jeep rather than just my garage project…
