Several months ago I sold my CJ6 for 2K to a helicopter Ag spray and logging Co.

... it had changed hands again. The new owner( junk yard owner) towed it over into a waiting area to pull the engine. I saw it sitting with a tarp over it on my way to work. I was freaked out. And turned around—went over and started asking questions. The shop owner who is retiring—said that he does not like a ‘streached’ Jeep. Says he does not want it for anything except the engine. He has a 71 CJ5 that has a knocking rod. I said I would trade him a good running 225 that I still have in my garage, and give him 5 hundred——- he said—as long as the 225 is a good runner.

So he came over and got the engine—- and checked it and said ‘good deal’.

So I am going over to the saving account and get $ 500 towing the CJ6 to my place.

I figure his Jeep now has a natural name - Boomerang…
