This is a 1969 CJ6 owned by John Knox, who writes:

This is Untamed, my ‘69 CJ6.  It used to be a mud racer with a 383 SB
Chevy, SM420, Model 18 t-case, and 3.73s in the offset, flanged axle D44, and ran
40” tires.  (How the front axle survived is anyone’s guess)

I knocked $400 off the asking price by giving back the 383, and will be swapping a
‘90 TBI 350 out of a box van. I will also swap a Scout D44 in the front with hydro
steer, and run 5.38 gears. 

The picture shows Q78 Swampers (35.5"x10.50") on it, but I have a set of 38.5x11.00
Boggers on it now.

I will build a full cage for it, as well as one for the old SS Dutch that Zach
bought from you. The hydro steer on both rigs will be running was designed by him.
He will be using either a TBI 4.3, or a TBI 350, backed by an automatic and a
205/203 doubler t-case set up, and (You gota love LWB Jeeps)
