Just when I started to think I might have choosen a color for SSDutch that would make it unique, along comes a Champagne Gold CJ6 (ignore the seller’s claim of it being a light mossy green) on eBay.
The auction text reads:
This Very RARE CJ6 with the all the Original touches including the JEEP Special Equiptment Half-Cab is as unmolested as it gets. It comes with records dating back to the Original Bill of Sale. It really was owned by a Grandmother who used it to get to her hunting grounds in the late 60’s. Her notes are in the Original Owners Manual example: (11-78 New tires mileage reads 61K.) That means it has been driven only 14K in almost 30 years !!! I have NEVER personally seen a Kaiser CJ-6 this Original with miles that are documented this low. The paint is faded on the hood and fenders a bit. It is a silvery light mossy green, clear coat has peeled a bit (after almost 40 years) The intreior is as clean as I have ever seen.
Definitely a sweet Jeep - it’d be fun to just drive as is.
