If that headline isn’t enough to make you salivate, I’m not sure what would. Currently on eBay is a 1965 CJ6, sporting the rare option of the Perkins 4cyl diesel.
As if that’s not enough, the diesel is hooked to a T98 4 speed, and the Jeep is also outfitted with an overdrive and a PTO driven winch. And...a split bench seat up front.
The only bummer is the fiberglass body, which takes just a bit of the “coolness factor” away - and makes one wonder why a Jeep with 11K miles, owned by one family and “well maintained” required a new body…
Edit-add—the grill and w/s are from a later Jeep. The ad mentions both body and frame work, but not in a very detailed manner.
There are some cool aspects of this Jeep, but as with anything this old—before buying somehow get some experienced “Jeep eyes” to go over the rig.

That thing is sweet! If I lived anywhere close, I would definately be checking it out. Probably get 20+MPG!
BTW....your name was mentioned on the Jeep-L today.

Uh Oh - in what context?

Heh, Jeep-L, that list is still going huh?

Just that you were admin/mod once. It is a thread about the past.

I was never a mod...I just did the website. Man...that’s at least 8-9 years ago. No, 9 at least...I remember announcing my son on the list and he’s 10 in January…

Guess he wasn’t satisfied with the high bid of $6,600 (reserve no met) so he’s relisted.... starting bid set at $15,000 !!!!
It’s a nice Jeep but.....

Saw that...wonder if that was his reserve to begin with? IMHO if it were *all* original with a steel body, correct tailights, no diamond plate etc he *might* appeal to a collector. But there’s just too much not original on the Jeep to bump it into collector $$ value.
