1964 CJ6 Hardtop
EarlyCJ5.com member “lvhunter” has posted some pictures of his new purchase - a 1964 CJ6 with a steel hardtop.
He writes:
The Jeep was given to my by my father-in-law. He refused to take any money...but thats a whole ‘nother story. He got it from his brother. His brother had the 350 and other ‘stuff’ done in california. According to what I could find on based on the VIN and the decal on both fenders, it did come out with a Perkins 192 I4 Diesel engine.
The Jeep sports a “diesel” emblem on the side that I’ve never seen before:

Thanks for the add. This is my first jeep and looks interesting. I’ve noticed the learning curve is both steep and expensive.
