That one sentence is enough to demonstrate the business value of my newest client, The Word Works, located in Yokohama, Japan.
The Word Works provides Japanese-to-English and English-to-Japanese translation services, and the results are guaranteed to be better than the above sentence, which I generated by going to the Google Language Tools and typing (in English):

I translated it to Japanese, then copied the Japanese text back in and translated it back to English.
As you can see, the automated approach to language translation is rudimentary at best. Businesses like The Word Works can capture and translate nuance and meaning that computers are just not currently able to do.
The web site being planned for The Word Works will include both English and Japanese content—a first for me.
Multilingual, globalized web sites will become more important as companies of all sizes begin to work on an international scale, so I’m looking forward to creating a site that speaks to both the English and Japanese members of The Word Work’s audience.
