I’m pleased to announce that the mannais.org site has been re-launched with a new design and added event calendar. I’m still making some changes and refinements, but wanted to get it pushed live. The design is an open-source template that I found and integrated into ExpressionEngine - a very cost-effective way of building a nicely designed and featured website for a small church.

I’d be curious to see a write-up on how you did the calendar in EE.

Hey Nathan - so far the calendar is straight from the EE docs, just with the formatting tweaked. It uses a dedicated weblog with the calendar tag for display. The entry form is a stand alone entry form, new submissions go to a pending status until approved by an admin - who is notified by email of new submissions.
What I need to do yet is install the RepEEt plug-in which allows the entry and display of repeating events.
