I’m pleased to announce Boyink Interactive’s newest client, Cooking Among Friends, a company based here in West Michigan.

Owners Mary Tennant and Becki Visser have written a book, are available for speaking engagements, and have products available for sale—all with the end-goal of reducing the time, hassle, and cost of meal planning and production. 

Plans for their site include re-implementation on ExpressionEngine, both for basic content management and a business blog.  Also planned is a “Cooking Among Friends” community (using the ExpressionEngine discussion forum module) where people can connect to share recipes and other cooking and food-related tidbits.

Once launched, the site should be a good example of how a small business can take advantage of tools like ExpressionEngine to increase site traffic and community, and ultimately sell more products and speaking engagements.
