The Word Works
Overview:
The Word Works is a Yokohama, Japan based company that provides Japanese-to-English and English-to-Japanese translation, copywriting, and other consulting services.
When the company wanted a new website that was more flexible, scalable, and included business blogs, they came all the way to West Michigan to engage with Boyink Interactive.
The new site uses ExpressionEngine as a content management system, with a combination of 12 EE weblogs driving both the “static” portions of the site as well as the five true blogs. The site features both English and Japanese content, all handled through EE with a bit of custom php code mixed in.
All in all, between the language issues and 14 hour offset between the Word Works and myself, this proved to be a great learning experience for me, and I’m quite pleased with the results.
