The Villa Passalacqua
Overview:
The Villa Passalacqua is located on Lake Como, in Moltrasio Italy and is available as a rental for discerning clients in search of a unique location for a memorable vacation, wedding, or corporate event.
The Villa had a website. The site was attractive, professional, and captured the Villa experience very well. So why was Boyink Interactive called in? The existing site was done entirely in Flash—which meant that, while pretty, it was completely invisible to search engines and was not updateable by the Villa owner. In short, from a business perspective the Flash site utterly failed.
The “GetBoyinked!“ solution was to implement a search-engine-friendly site based on ExpressionEngine. Google now sees over 150 pages of content on this deceptively-simple appearing site, daily visitors have increased from 35 to over 700, and the site owner can maintain all the content without any involvement from me.
