I was doing a Bantam search & came accross your excellent site.
I own a 1946 Bantam civilian model.
I am planning on a complete rebuild. I am curious as to how you removed the tub from it’s original frame. Mine is welded in areas. Did you just cut them?
Thanks for any info. I bookmarked your site. Thankyou, Brad

Hi Brad -
Thanks for the comments. Another great resource is the Bantam Trailer Yahoo group:http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/BantamTrailer/
I did have to cut the tub from the frame. Since I knew I was replacing the frame it was a bit easier - I could sacrifice the original frame if it meant keeping the tub more intact.
You’ll find welds along the sides and on each crossmember.
